Reasons to learn German

There are many reasons to learn German, whether it be your love of philosophy, your search for the ultimate chocolate cake or micro brew, your desire to see where some of the most beautiful classical music and castles originated, or perhaps even a way to finding more information on the three nations that are commonly used as tax-havens, where German is one of the official languages. What’s more, Germans are a social people, and they live, travel and run businesses around the globe. They are loyal friends, sensitive spouses, and hard-working business partners. There are almost 200 million German speakers in the world today, and chances are you won’t have to go far to meet one.

Best Overall German Course: Rocket Languages German

Having been an instructor of German language for many years now, I have come across several German tutorials. These are both in video and audio formats and even in text formats. Yet, I have personally not found a course as good as Rocket German till date.

Many of the modern books that claim to effectively teach German lack contemporary language and real world examples.
